Bread bowl dips are perfect for any occasion. They are easy to make and always taste great. You are sure to have everyone asking for the recipe when you volunteer to bring the dip!

You can easily make this Spinach Dip Recipe in a bowl and enjoy it just as well. Football games are another great gathering that calls for bread bowl dips!

What to serve with spinach dip:

Typically we serve this up with the bread bowl chunks, fresh veggies, crackers, and some pretzels. You can serve up pretty much anything for dipping. Crackers and chips or pretzels work great.

Carrots, celery sticks, cucumber slices, and even pepper strips work great for dipping when it comes to fresh veggies.

Use study crackers like triscuits or wheat thins for dipping. I like to use Ritz crackers as well on occasion. The possibilities are endless!

What you’ll need to make a bread bowl with spinach dip:

This recipe uses vegetable soup mix, light sour cream, low at greek yogurt, light mayonnaise, garlic powder, frozen chopped spinach, chopped onion, and a round bread loaf.

There’s nothing funny or difficult to find. These ingredients are pretty simple to grab on any grocery order which makes this a very fun recipe to make, no stress!

How to make spinach dip in a bread bowl:

This is a pretty simple recipe to put together. There’s nothing much that makes this recipe tricky. Once you have your bread bowl ready you can get everything else ready and in just a few minutes you’ll have your dip read. This needs to sit for 2 hours – overnight. It’s a great dip that you can make in advance if need be!

Mix all ingredients (not the bread) together and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Overnight is best so all the flavors can blend.

Hollow out your bread bowl.

If you want a toasty bread bowl, brush with olive oil and bake at 375 for 10 mins.

Add dip to round bread bowl or bowl.

Serve with bread, crackers or fresh vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 1 package Knorr Vegetable Soup Mix, Dry
  • 8 oz light sour cream
  • 8 oz plain low fat greek yogurt, or you can use all sour cream
  • 1 cup light mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 small box frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
  • 2 TBSP chopped onion, optional
  • 1 large round bread loaf, optional

Instructions
