- Safely and efficiently load and unload packages from delivery vehicles using proper handling techniques and equipment.
- Sort and organize packages according to delivery route and destination, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Operate scanning equipment to record package tracking information and maintain accurate records of all packages handled.
- Inspect packages for damage or irregularities and report any issues to supervisors.
- Adhere to all safety and security procedures to protect packages and equipment from damage or theft.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of packaging materials.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Continuously monitor and maintain the condition of equipment, reporting any malfunctions or needed repairs.
- Lift and move packages up to 50lbs in weight, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to meeting productivity and quality standards.
- Actively participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
