Tee-off on this year’s US Open is set for Thursday, June 13.
The 124rd annual golf tournament will be played for the fourth time on Course No. 2 of Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
Organized by the United States Golf Association, this year’s US Open will be a stop on three major international golf tours: the American PGA Tour, the European Tour, and the Japan Golf Tour. 156 golfers qualified for the tournament, which is played over four rounds and 72 holes.
The 2024 Open will also mark the 1,000th USGA-staged tournament in the association’s history, and will be the last major played before the Olympic teams are announced.
This year, the US Open will get extensive TV coverage on a combination of networks — NBC Sports is promising “more than 200 hours of coverage including the main broadcast, featured groups and studio coverage.” Even if you don’t have cable, you’ll be able to watch every minute of it using a combination of services.
How, you ask? Keep reading, and we’ll tell you everything you need to know!
